"The Nectar Festival aims to inspire and empower women. It seeks to promote equality,
creativity, wisdom and to celebrate the rich contribution women have made to our
community. The event celebrates women from all walks of life and all cultural
backgrounds allowing them to come together to tell their stories, display their creativity
and share their experiences.
The Nectar Festival’s ability to bring women together in a safe and nurturing
environment to exchange ideas, share progress, promote issues and develop strong
social networks is an important part of strengthening the social fabric of our community.
This sharing and exchange of experiences and ideas in turn acts as a catalyst to
empower women in our community to formulate their own goals and dreams and
